As designers go, Mother Nature is pretty eccentric, crafting art from a mix of abstract details and colors. So how do we compete with the very inventor of beauty? We start by copying her. Call it, “inspiration.” When you look at a Radianz™ Quartz countertop, you see nature’s design in every square inch. But it’s Samsung technology that enhances the surface’s performance. To compose a Radianz™ surface, advanced polymer resins and pigments are fused with 93% quartz, one of the hardest minerals in nature. The result is a beautiful quartz countertop and surfacing material that can handle anything you throw at it. This blend of nature and technology also allows us to create Radianz™ styles that go beyond the aesthetic of natural stone.
Engineered quartz does not release Radon, since it is sealed during the fabrication process. Samsung Radianz is certified by the Greenguard Environmental Institute. Samsung Radianz is also a member of the Green Building Council.
It’s also good for the planet as well as quartz is abundant around the world and can last for a very long time. That means it generates a smaller impact on the natural environment.
93% naturally mined quartz content in Samsung Radianz provides it a strength greater than granite. It is extremely resistant to harm from ambient cooking-related heat, too. Because it’s non-porous, bacteria can’t get into the surface, making Samsung Quartz stain resistant as well as hygienic.
Consistency of tone and texture
Samsung Radianz Quartz offers uniform color and texture across the entire surface, whereas with natural stone such as marble or granite, appearance may vary due to natural vein patterns and variations. With Samsung Radianz, what you see in the gallery, catalog or showroom is what you get.
Samsung Radianz is non-porous and completely sealed – no need for further sealing or waxing. Simply install and enjoy.
Versatility to match your expectations
Because is an engineered stone surface, it is available in a wide range of sizes (jumbo 60″ slabs!), formations, colors and consistencies, depending on the practical and aesthetic requirements. Radianz Quartz slabs are manufactured in ¾” (2cm) and 1 ¼” (3cm) thickness. The thicker slab dimension (i.e., 3cm) is used more commonly than 2cm thickness in most areas of the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Check with your local supplier regarding the thickness of Radianz Quartz slabs stocked locally. All Radianz Quartz color options are manufactured to a standard width of 60” and can be cut to size to accommodate most project specifications.

Radianz Quartz Surfaces require simple maintenance. Because Radianz Quartz is comprised of high quality natural quartz and advanced polymers, it is durable, scratch resistant, non-porous, and resists stains. The product does not require sealants or waxes and meets stringent sanitation requirements for restaurants and kitchen surfaces.
On a routine basis, simply wipe the surface using a clean, soft cloth or sponge with a mile dish-soap diluted in warm water. Polished Radianz™ has low porosity and, therefore, does not require the use of a surface sealant and is naturally resistant to surface staining from cooking oils, wine, coffee, etc. In most cases, a mild dish-soap and water is enough to keep your Radianz™ looking clean. Afterwards, thoroughly rinse with clean water and dry with soft cloth or paper towels to prevent spotting. For best results, clean liquid spills and dried foods as soon as possible.
Apply a non-abrasive household cleaner and rinse to remove residue. For dried liquids, foods and any harden marks, remove by gently scraping the surface with a plastic putty knife or a non-abrasive Scotch-Brite® pad and then use a damp cloth to lift any residual stains and marks. NEVER use Methylene Chloride or cleaners containing any alkaline materials.
Although Radianz™ is more heat resistance than most surfaces around the home, all stone products can be damaged by sudden and extreme temperature changes, especially near the edges. For this reason, always use a hot pad or a trivet with rubber feet to protect Radianz™.
Radianz™ is substantially harder than natural stone and is highly resistant to scratching. However, avoid damage by refraining from using knives, screw drivers and other sharp objects directly on the surface. Never cut or chop directly on a Radianz™ surface, always use a cutting/chopping board when preparing foods.
Lightly scrub surface in a small circular motion with a wet sponge and an abrasive cleanser such as Soft Scrub® over stain or scratch. Darker colors tend to require more attention than lighter colors. Scrubbing too aggressively may actually reduce the gloss level.
Bullnose. Ogee. These should be household names. The edge treatment on your countertop is an integral choice for the overall look of your space. When done right, countertop edging should add a whole new layer to your kitchen or bathroom design, and with Radianz™ Quartz there are plenty of options to choose from. For commercial spaces, Radianz™ Quartz surfaces can be custom crafted to accommodate a wide range of applications, and a variety of edge profiles are available to match that range. So, before you start designing a countertop or work surface, shuffle through these popular choices and check with your local fabricator about other popular options.
