Marnie Homes builds high-end, custom beach homes in and around Bethany Beach, Delaware. As a fifth-generation builder, founder Marnie Oursler combines a builder’s knowledge with a designer’s sensibility. She is also a writer, speaker, and consultant, as well as an advocate for sustainable building initiatives, including “We Build American,” a national campaign with 84 Lumber seeking to increase domestic jobs by incentivizing the use of American-made building products. Marnie is also the star of “Big Beach Builds” on DIY Network.

About this Project
Recently built and designed by @marnieoursler, this 7,600-square-foot modern coastal home is located oceanfront in Bethany Beach, DE(Next Home Design Magazine Issue!). Inspired by modern California design, the four story beach house fits right in along the Delaware coast thanks to its more old fashioned pointed roofline. To capture every ounce of ocean view, the back of the home features wall to wall windows that leads to an additional 1,400 sq feet of deck space. If you love modern coastal design, this home will leave you dreaming of beach house living.
